Commencement Attire for Graduates

Approved attire for both the Baccalaureate Mass and the Graduation Ceremony include as appropriate:

  • Skirts
  • Dress Slacks
  • Shirts
  • Ties
  • Dress Shoes
    • Only flat, block, or wedge heels will be permitted on the field
    • Thin/spike heels will not be allowed as they could damage the field or be a tripping hazard
  • Baccalaureate Mass – Graduates are to wear gown only
  • Graduation Ceremony – Graduates are to wear cap & gown (make sure cap is secured).

Students not dressed appropriately will not be allowed to participate in these events. Although we will be outside, the decorum for Mass should be reverent, as appropriate for a religious service.

Loaner Laptop Return

Seniors who have a loaner laptop MUST return the laptop and charger to the Tech Office prior to graduation practice on May 26th in order to receive their cap and gown. Both laptop and charger must be in good working order and free from damage.

If either the laptop or charger is damaged or missing, the cap & gown will be held and a deductible must be paid. If you anticipate any issues with the condition of the loaner equipment, it would be most beneficial to address them with the tech department before the last day of school. Questions regarding the loaner laptop return policy may be addressed to Eric Ross at eross@moreaucatholic.org.
