Math Summer Review
English Summer Review
Moreau Catholic students are expected to complete summer math review work to prepare them for the next course. All summer packets should be completed by the first day of school.
If you have any questions please contact Ms. Caitlin Riley the Math Department Chair.
Here at Moreau Catholic, the enjoyment of reading good books doesn’t stop on the last day of school. Just like any sport or musical instrument, reading skills must be practiced in order to stay sharp and improve, and reading for pleasure is one of the best exercises a student can do for her or his brain! Summer is a great time to discover new stories filled with interesting characters and places that just might make your leisure time even better!
However, students don’t want to stay complacent in reading material that is too easy for them, nor do they want to become frustrated by choosing a book that is too far of a stretch for their current vocabulary. The Macmillan Readers Level Test can help students determine the appropriate reading level for them, and then provide them with a list of books of all different genres that meet that level.
So, find a shady spot outside or a cozy chair in the house, open up a new book, and enjoy!
