Mock Trial Camp

Apply to join us for a week-long introduction to Mock Trial! Students will experience the excitement and demands of the courtroom—thinking on their feet, speaking in front of an audience—and everyone will either play the role of an attorney, witness, bailiff or clerk. Students will be able to work with members of the Moreau Catholic Mock Trial team, winners of the 2019 Alameda County Philip A. Harley Memorial Mock Trial Championship! The week will also include a visit to the Hayward Hall of Justice where students will see a real courtroom and our legal system in action. The camp will culminate with a mock trial, put on by the students and open for family and friends to attend as jurors and audience members.

The program runs June 24th-28th from 8:00 am–3:00 pm.

Applicants must be entering 7th through 9th grade for the 2024-2025 school year.

NOTE: Applicants will be notified of their acceptance to the program shortly after receipt of the application and provided with information about registration at that time. Payment will be due at the time of registration. Due to the limited number of roles in the trial, the camp will be limited to 19 students.

Moreau Catholic High School is a recognized 501(c)3 organization. Tax ID: 94-1609000.
