Samantha exemplifies a student who is always ready to work, sing, help her classmates, and participate. She is super focused and even stays behind to help clear up after rehearsals. She is patient with her fellow singers and I appreciate her energy!

Aymani has been a joy to have in class. She goes out of her way to say hello and express her care for others in and outside of the classroom, approaches class assignments with positivity and determination, and even made some art to decorate my classroom! She has definitely been a big part of making our 9th period feel like a family.

Jennifer is one of the most creative and hardest workers in my Drawing class. She is never afraid to tackle projects even the difficult skill level ones. She is also extremely friendly and is such a wonderful presence in class. Her excellent craftsmanship and dedication to learning the different skills serve as a great example of a Mariner, and the Mariner Mindset.

Ananth came over at the end of the Sophomore Social and asked if we needed any help cleaning up. He then proceeded to break down tables and chairs and put them in their respective locations. He showed what it means to be a Mariner by helping out the group.

Being Family – Pride in Self/School

Tilak has done a wonderful job both inside and outside of the classroom. Inside the classroom, he has shown curiosity through his questions and cooperation through helping out his classmates. Outside of the classroom, he walked around during the Frosh Social cleaning up trash and he pushes himself during Cross Country practice. The pillar/mindset he demonstrates is Pride in Self/School as he always is striving to be the best, while always looking out for his fellow Mariners.
