Alana Hansen ’21: “You’ve made a big difference”

“You don’t know me but you’ve made a big difference in my life.

You see when you chose to support Moreau Catholic High School, you not only helped me receive the education of my dreams, you also realized an important dream for my mother.

Let me explain. I was only one when my father passed away, so it’s been just the two of us—my mom and me—for as long as I can remember.

I watched her work long hours and face a lot of challenges. It wasn’t just that she was a single parent. She dealt with some serious health issues and an unexpected layoff. There were times she had to call on friends just to keep a roof over our heads.

Nothing was easy, but she made sure I stayed focused on my education. She wanted me to go to a great school, and you helped make that happen.”

What is Funding Hopes and Dreams?
Funding Hopes and Dreams is Moreau Catholic’s only yearly fundraiser specifically dedicated to raising money for our tuition assistance program. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the ensuing economic impact, many of our families need help more than ever before. Moreau Catholic is committed to offering tuition assistance as the need continues to increase. With close to 38% of our families requiring tuition assistance, your support enables us to offer an exceptional and compassionate college preparatory education in a faith based environment to qualified and deserving students and their families.

What are some ways you can make an impact?

  1. Join our growing list of sponsors
  2. Fund a Student
